IT IS COLD May 12, 2009

Posted by sailingnightwatch in Durbeck, FL, Florida, ICW, Pensacola, Repairs, Restoration, Sailing, Sailing the ICW.

Well the snow is melting and the temp is in the low 50’s and windy. Went by Lake Dillon yesterday and did not see any sailboats, of course it was Wednesday. I did see a lot of ice, that may also slow down sailing. As you can see by the pictures, the snow is still here at 9600 feet and up on the mountains at 12000+. It is actually pretty nice out, and very dry. I can feel my face turning into a raisin.

There are pictures with these posts, but I forgot my passwords at home, and will post them next week.

It is also race weekend coming up and I will have to catch up next week with my posts.
