I once thought that putting both heads on one Lectra/san would be a good way to save a couple boat units of money (boat unit = $500). Twice this year I have had the aft head malfunction. Well it is 12 years old and get a lot of use, so I guess I can not complain to much. The point being that it is good to have 2 stand alone units. At least when one dies, we have a working head. Redundancy is good

I called Raritan to trouble shoot and order parts this morning and sure enough, technology has moved on. I get to buy a new control board, switch and monitoring panel. Hey it is only money. Like I said, it has been very reliable. Of the 2 units, I replaced the first pump just a short time ago. I have replaced 1 circuit boards in 1 unit and the heating elements in both units. If this upgrade fixes the problem, I will be happy. I also have to commend the Raritan engineering people for always being most helpful and courteous with my problems.
