HAPPENED AGAIN January 9, 2012

Posted by sailingnightwatch in Durbeck, FL, Florida, ICW, Pensacola, Repairs, Restoration, Sailing, Sailing the ICW.

Ran out of water. Not on board, but in the canal. Strong front came through with strong northerly winds and blew the water away. Wednesday we were sitting about 1 foot below the normal waterline. This to will pass. The days are getting longer.

22 months before we head south. Can not wait. We have a friend who left in mid December. He is now in the Exumas. He has a blog and we send emails back and forth. I am salivating. Waiting for his next post.

It is time to spend some money and get the boat more ready. Got to do the Life raft first. My daughter is possibly coming back from over seas very soon, and will want her SUV back. I need it to haul the life raft to Mobile for updating. Have to make up my mind on a water maker. Lots of money. Also need to get the new dingy and motor. The list goes on.
