The Navarre Beach Yacht Club had there annual St Patty’s Day party on the pier at Juana’s. I motored down in my dock lords boat. His wife had things to do and drove down to meet us. The wind was from the right direction, but only about 5 knots. We wanted to get there early because the Coast Guard Aux was doing boat inspections and wanted to get inspected. Therefore, we motorsailed. That meant we got there before the keg was tapped and the green beer flowed. Great times were had by all.

The mate was at a cruising seminar put on by the Pensacola Yacht Club. The main speaker had been around the world a few times. Then they split into groups that were headed up by local club women. She got some of her questions answered, and then some not so much. Overall she enjoyed it and thought it well worth the fee.

After the meeting she drove to Navarre and picked me up. I had hoped to start on my brightwork this weekend, but there was a threat of rain everyday. I did get the places I am going to spot masked off. Hoping for good weather next weekend.
