This was a beautiful weekend. Some of you may have had a wonderful sail. I had a wonderful varnish. Last weekend I was able to get 2 coats of varnish on the spots on the cap rail that needed attention this year. This Friday I got the 3rd coat of varnish on the spots and put a coat of Cetrol on the rub rails. Saturday I sanded the cap rails, spindles and the top rail. The weather was perfect. Not to hot, dry and the Bristol dried with no bubbles and a great shine. I still have the cockpit cap rails to do but they must wait till we put away the enclosure.

Time for a sail.

I like it’s hardness and its long lasting shine. It is a major pain to prep and put on.
