We are still here, Wednesday is Christmas and Saturday we head south weather permitting. Right now the weather looks good. We will leave hear and head to Longboat Key. That will get us there about dinner time if we can get out on time. We will anchor there for the night. Sunday I would like to make Venice and go to a marina for the night. There are not any good anchorages in the area that I feel comfortable with. From there we will go to Gasparilla Island for the night. There are places to see there and we may spend an extra day roaming around. It is suppose to be similar to Key West before it became popular. Also if the weather is not so good we can move to some good anchorages across the ICW, or we can go across Charlotte Harbor pass and anchor around Pine Island. I like this area and want to spend some time exploring. Therefore things are sketchy as to when and where we will be. In fact this evening I am looking at the area for thing to do and places to go.

Took a few shots of the Christmas Decorations at the Yacht Club. Who ever is their decorator must be a Florida State fan. Crimson and Gold are the dominant colors. It is a good combination.

Do not know when I will get another bolg off. Maybe in Venice. Can never tell if I can get WIFI on the hook.
