trackback

We have been in West Bay since Tuesday, have a new alternator and the water maker is making water, we think so, neither of us have gotten sick yet. We have to go because we need fuel. I continue to have gremlins in my electrical system. Found one in my charging system. Just an old piece of wire. Replaced it. We are also using a lot of electricity. Our stand up refrig is real user of amps. We are trying to save any way we can, short of turning it off..

We are leaving at 3 AM tomorrow for Highborne Cay, fuel up, do some snorkeling and then move on to Normans cay. More snorkeling and smelling the roses. We leave early so we get to Highborn early afternoon while still able to pick out the rocks and coral before hitting them.

We have been traveling with this other couple since Marathon. Tonight we separate, they are going north to meat up with friends then back towards the states and pick up their daughter and son-in-law. They have been a lot of fun. They are very adventuresome. Get us out of the box real quick. We got off a bus when the driver decided he needed an additional $10 per person to take us where we wanted to go. We were the last ones on the bus. So we got off and started walking. Not having any idea how far it was. Thank goodness another bus came and we paid about ½ what the first jerk wanted to get back to the dinghies.

Well have to go pour my jerry cans of fuel in my tank. More later.
